Experiment for high-school student to get familiar with the EE faculty using Sphero Bolt

In this project we designed and write and entire experiment for high-school students using the Sphero Bolt. in the experiment they will know the Electrical Engineering faculty and the subjects of the faculty studying and researching.

The students will join to 4 hours experiment in which they will learn about wide aspect of subject and will have physical demonstration using the Sphero Bolt:

  • Wireless Charging – the principles of wireless charging with electromagnetic
  • Programming – using the simple struct coding language that fit for beginners Scratch they will learn and implement simple programs cy themselves.
  • Semiconductors – the usage and the principles that Semiconductors use on order to implement transistors and LED bulbs.
  • Control systems – the principal of control system and particularly with the feedback concept using daily examples.
  • Communication systems – the usage of light to communicate between different systems and the basic protocols for establishing first connection. (UDP/TCP)

At the end of this experiment the student will compete in teams in order to write the most efficient code – in order to defeat the Covid-19 virus.

In this challenge they will get an infected Bolt that will send Infection messages to other Bolt in order to infect them, the student will be have to write a program for healer Bolt – that will send healing messages to other Bolt and will make them resistible to the virus.

The team that will be able to heal all the Bolts in the shortest time will win.
