The CharlieBot project is designed to be a low cost, easily built quadruped robot. The design is roughly based on Boston Dynamics quadruped robot SpotMini, though with adaptations such as size and sensor suite.
The robot will be controlled with an PS4 controller and will be able to perform the following movements: moving forward, backward, to the left and right side and by a diagonal – in various speeds.
The project is divided to three phases, the first phase is to design the body and 3D print the parts and to compile them with the motors. the second part is to program the controller to make the moves possible, the final part will be to debug the code.
