Reaching Airstrip in Engine Cutoff Emergency

This project is a part of two projects aimed to implement and validate the paper by D. Segal, A. Bar-Gill and N. Shimkin – Max-Range Glides in Engine Cutoff Emergencies Under Severe Wind.

The system includes a real-time software which produce instructions according to an airplane’s parameters inputs and determines the best place to land.

The objective of this work is to create the user-side program which uses the algorithm in distress.
