Training and improving concentration levels using brain-controlled game

In our project we dceveloped a tool which can improve users’ concentration levels.
The user’s focus level is being extracted from the gamma brainwaves, using the muse
2 sensor. Muse 2 is a multi-sensor meditation device that provides real-time feedback
on brain activity, heart rate, breathing, and body movements.
Gamma brain waves have the highest frequency among all brain waves. They are
associated with high levels of thought and focus.
The game is combination of two parts: the pre-game and the maze.
At the beginning of each session, the user participants in a pre-game. While
participating, the user’s focus levels are being examined, and a personal scale is being
determined. This personal scale will use the user during the maze game.
While playing the maze, the user will be able to take a step forward only if the focus
levels that are being sampled are higher than the level that was determined during the
pre-game. Changing the direction of the player is abled by blinking.
As studies showed, focus levels can be improved using several methods. One of
which is brain-controlled activities that showed better results than other activities that
include motor use (such as keyboard-controlled game).
